listening. adapting. sharing.
In light of COVID-19, we will be taking any and all necessary precautions to keep our event attendees safe. Throughout the planning process, we will be listening and learning from our event partners and the global, national, and local authorities to ensure we are doing our absolute best to adjust the event to comply with all guidelines in place for travel and safety. Leading up to the event, we will be sharing updates on the logistical provisions we are implementing for this year’s Annual Conference. We are committed to providing all attendees a first-rate experience that accounts for the current circumstances.
HARDI’s Statement on COVID Safety Guidelines:
Dear HARDI Members,
It has touched our hearts to feel the tremendous outpouring of support for the HARDI Annual Conference. We have fielded many calls and emails from members expressing their excitement to get back out, strengthen relationships and reflect on what has certainly been a most unique year. We heard you loud and clear and are planning to offer you an in-person conference experience that does not disappoint.
And yet, this is not just another year, and it is imperative that HARDI keeps your health and safety at the forefront of our event planning. While we intend to delight our attendees with the unparalleled networking opportunities and the content that has come to define a HARDI conference, let me reassure you that every element of Adapt ’20 is being designed to comply with heightened safety measures.
We are opening our conference registration with a new booth program format that will accommodate distancing needs while ensuring each exhibitor is offered a quality show experience. You will see other changes as well, from food and beverage service, to receptions and even the way we utilize technology to both create and break down boundaries.
Currently, while we continue to scenario plan, we are unable to provide a full rundown of the anticipated changes to our event. It is simply too early to finalize our attendee procedures. However, let me reassure you that our host hotel, the Atlanta Marriott Marquis, is taking every precaution necessary, and more, to welcome you to Atlanta with confidence.
And yet, we know you have colleagues who will not be able to travel to an in-person event at this time to share in our event with the rest of our community. To those of you, we understand. We are designing a virtual ticket option to accommodate non-travelers while still experiencing our new networking and learning designs, which we should release early in the Fall.
In closing, expect to check back here in the coming months for the latest safety policies and precautions we will be implementing to keep our attendees safe. As soon as we have confirmed information, we will post here to share with all of you.
Looking forward to seeing you in Atlanta for Adapt ‘20!
